Main lake pretty much iced in..from red bridge up towards river is open with fast moving muddy water red bridge and maimi ramps starting to open up..looks like 6 to 8" ice left

Not much ice left. Water muddy . Had one bite and that was it. Nice to be out fishing though.

Went over today for the first trip this year. Caught a pretty decent mess on tube jibs and a float set from 3-5 foot deep. Wind was gusty out of the east which made it a little tough. Bite has apparently been very good from the guys i had talked to but was slower today. Some good sized fish in the mess though, a couple 12s and one 13.

Always wanted to fish that lake but never have. Sounds like you did good. My dad and I came up with a nice mess on Giest Friday night after work
