loaded up and ready
finished charging the batteries, updated my new Helix 5, hooked up the fuel line, hooked up the hose, fired up the motor (didn't even have to choke it), and the trailer seemed to jump on the ball like it was just as ready to go as I am. Headed for Patoka in the morning.

Caught one 8" crappie. The day wasn't a total loss. The boat ran good, I got to play with the fishfinder, and I learned the mounts for my shallow water anchors need a redesign.

Oh and we added to the debris that was already in the lake.
It was hilarious. My brother was running the trolling motor by Painter's Creek and caught a tree with the sundeck on my boat and broke it off. It was like "hey your gonna hit that (crack..splash) nevermind."
