Indiana DNR Law District 8 just posted this on their Facebook page a couple minutes ago:

ICO Jeff Milner says that Patoka is thawing out, but all the boat ramps are not clear yet. If you are looking for a place to launch, please contact the Property at (812) 685-2464, or check:
    http://www.in.gov/dnr/parklake/2953.htm
for more info. Most should be clear by Sunday.

It started raining down here at 6am this morning, and at 7:30pm just now,,,i am reading 3" of rain in my gage and raining hard still. Rivers and creeks are out of their banks and rising fast. Pure muddy and ugly. Will keep ya's posted.

Still light rain/drizzle right now and total is a tick over 3.8 inches total rainfall here as I am about 25/30 miles north of Patoka as the crow flies in Martin Co. very near Crane Fence. Most low lying roads now flooded especially around me. Be sure to check out 37 thru Orleans as downtown Orleans will have water in it most of the time when it rains this hard. Also between Orleans and Paoli on 37 it sometimes floods across 37 at Lost River. I would also be wary of 150 out of Paoli to French Lick as it gets flooded as well as down town French Lick sometimes, but have no road conditions for it so call Local Police for it. Its not showing up on this State Road Condition site, so don't know how accurate it is, but Hwy 450 at Williams, I went thru over 1 foot of water on it in 2 places in 4 x 4 truck at 6pm yesterday and now its for sure closed. Stay safe, and hope you guys have some luck at Patoka in these conditions.
