Default Helix Models Remove from chartselect????

I swear these were included in the drop down menu of supported head units the other evening when I looked. I updated my unit, encrypted a pair of cards, installed the chartselect downloader on my laptop, go to the chartselect webpage and the Helix models are no longer in the menu....this sucks I was hoping to go fish lock and damn 16 this weekend!

Can I simply select a different unit from the menu and load the maps to the cards or will they not work at that point?

HB is working to fix the website. I also discovered by misfortune that you cannot use an 8gb microsd card for Chart Select it must be 32 or 64gb

I don't really understand why they ask what type unit on the web page ...... The card should work in any unit that supports Lakemaster.

You would think so but when you add the chart to your shopping cart it specifically says that it will only work on the unit selected...not sure if that's true or not. Its a shame that the instructions state you can use anything over 2gb to store the charts but it will not work unless you have 32 or 64gb

I was just contacted a 2nd time and told 16 or 32gb cards would work...that the units do not support 64gb

That would be correct matzilla because a 64GB memory card would be of the SDXC (eXtended Capacity) type which Humminbird units do not support. We support the SDSC (Standard capacity) and SDHC (High Capacity) type memory cards which go up to 32GB capacity.

Greg ..... Is the Chart limited to a specific unit type once the card is created?

Got my cards to work....very happy with the end product. I'll just use the pair of 8gb cards I bought for recordings and such
