I would not mind hearing where they are now myself. I used to have a lot of success fishing for crappie with my dad around the Palarm Creek area, but that was back in the '80s. I now live in Conway. I have tried fishing Lake Conway around Palarm Creek, Pierce Creek, and 89 Bridge, but I have not had much luck over the last few years. About the only thing I ever catch is some catfish underneath the 89 bridge.

All the areas you mentioned are phenomenal areas to catch Crappie at certain times of the year, Palarm probably being the most consistent year-round. Like anywhere, you just have to get out there and figure out the when, where, and how. "The Pool," or "The Cove" that they are talking about is Conway's community fishin hole from about October to March. It is a man-made neighborhood pond located toward the back of Gold Creek on the N/W end of Conway. You had better take a big bag of tricks and an extra dose of patience if you want to learn this lake! Name: uploadfromtaptalk1426263609969.jpg

Wow, what photo. They must have been catching them that day for that many boats to be in one place. Yes, I know where that cove is. I only live about 3 miles from it by the way the crow files.

You must be right. I know I hear about people catching fish on that lake, but it sure must take a lot more effort now than it did 25 years ago.
