    Default Tried Monroe this Morning

Tried Monroe this Morning for a few hours...caught 19.....only three keepers (let em go) and a 4# kitty (gave away at the dock) I've never seen so many little fish...hardly big enough to take the bait....I thought I had grass a few times!

    I know where's the pictures....

Mike, did you troll the open water? I am wondering if the bigger fish are on the shoreline? Thinking about trying Crescent this weekend for specks and gills. Dad really prefers to pitch minnows and worms against the bank.
Thank you for the report as always.

Nothing on the east side so I went to the north shore and tight lined in 6 to 7' of water about 500' from shore. Started at Stone Island and went toward the OPP...caught plenty of fish just no size. I'm sure they're bedding along that north shore...I might not have been in far enough. Good luck!

Thanks for the report. Kinda same on Griffin, but we were doing the pads. I'll post how the master pad man and I did in a separate thread so I don't hijack another one! doh

I might have seen where they are Mike, this morning there must have been 20 boats in a 1/4 mile stretch on the St. John's right outside the Cameron Wright launch down from Johnson's bait, probably pretty thick on the banks at Jessup as well, but your trip sounds good for the future stock.

Makes sense....they'll move in right at the edge of that cane and you can flip minners along the edge and really hook up sometimes. Kinda like you showed me and my BnL on Jessup on the south shore. Might try that area next week. Thanks for the report!
