I love a good cold beer after a good or bad day on the lake, but out of respect for the rules of the land, I just refrain till I get off the premises. Its just an honor to be able to fish those lakes and I don't want to take any chance that a stewpit beer would change that for me. It's an ole school thang, I guess.

Couple ole boys from up here we caught with short fish, too many fish and were drunker than Hooter Brown and got caught several years ago. They're still doin community serviced time and didn't get their boat back till the next year. Question: Is cheatin worth it??

That's the key!! I was approached several yrs ago at Enid by a Dep Sheriff driving thru the park because I had a beer can in sight! Insead of giving me a citation, he said "If it's in a cup I can't see it." He couldn't have ignored it! Good Guy!

armyman, I have heard the same thing, but it seems as though he just told you how to break the law. If you get caught and you say "he said to put it in a cup and I'm ok" may not fly with the next guy. Don't understand the double standard by him????

Yeah...some just say drink up, just hide it, whatever...then wonder why they have to deal with problems with their kids lying or hiding things or some other parent has to deal with that kind of issue because some so called "grown up" teaches others that it is okay to lie and hide things, drink, etc. Then when someone's kid or family member gets killed by a drunk they raise cain about it, act like they are so sorry. Don't lead or teach others to do those things and the whole world will be a better place.
    Kids learn by example...
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: (KJV)
