Default Need To Fish Bad..What are the water conditions for KY and Barkley?

Cant take it anymore. There are only so many things I can do to improve the boat waiting for good weather to arrive. At this point I am heading out Saturday morning rain or shine (likely rain). I would rather not fish in mud soup so I was looking to find out if any of the creeks/bays have slightly stained water in either lake. I figure Barkley is pretty much out. I do prefer smaller water than big but would be interested in what West Sandy has to offer. Thanks for any info.

Went up to check on stuff at lake. Water is muddy and about winter pool. Water temp at my dock was 46* @ 1ft depth using HB 120. I saw 18 boats out in the 12-15 ft depths. Most seemed to be spider rigging. Don't know if the were catching.

If the catching is slow to good, I may end up there Saturday instead of reelfoot. Something is going to have to give

Winds at 10-15 Friday and Saturday. I'm thinking I'll have to pay a visit to Reelfoot. I figure if I'm gonna fish rising muddy water, there's no sense in traveling somewhere else to do it.

Yeah, they just cant seem to agree on a weather forecast. One minute it is rain in the morning, then cloudy. Next minute its spotty showers in the morning with steady rain later. Then there is the wind situation. 8-10 mph, wait .... make that 10-15mph now. My small boat can handle 10mph and 12mph when Im desperate but 15mph always feels like 25mph on KY Lake.

Hey guys I don't really won't to the guy that gives out bad news. But the fishing on ky lake is bad slow. They are flowing around 160,000 cfs out of the dam and that's a lot of current. Hope it gets better soon.
