Default Ready to catch some fish

Got boat all cleaned and waxed for a new year of fishing. After not fishing much last year with building my shop I told wife I'm gonna make up for it this year. I got 3 week vacation time and plan on using it to fish.

There will be days when the fishing is better than one's most optimistic forecast, others when it is far worse. Either is a gain over just staying home.

The Ole Ranger is looking good. I gave mine a bath today with Truman water. Bite should really turn on this week.

I use Meguiars Pure Carnuba. I stripped it with a product all the boat detailers around the lake use called Zing. You can buy it at Oreilly Auto parts. Mix it 50/50 with water and spray on let sit 5 min. and rinse. Its potent stuff so don't get it on your skin. Wax afterwards is a must. It will flat take off any stains.
