    Default Habitat

I heard it discussed on other threads about who does what to improve their local lakes. So with a show of hands how much time this year have you invested in making stake beds , cleaning the lakes, whatever you consider giving something back.

This time of year every time I go to the lake I make a few beds every trip. There is drift wood all along the edge of the shoreline. Just grab it and stick it in the ground around stumps or on the edge of creeks very easy to do and cost nothing. Take very little time as well. You can build a bed in less than 5 minutes.

Thats awesome BigC, I usually do 10 to 12 hours a years and try to make to the habitat day if I can. Do what I do according to where the water is that year. we have a problem here with folks pulling it up and burning it during the winter time, very frustrating.

My wife and I made the cleanup day the last two years at Enid and habitat day this year at Enid. I also pick up floating trash every day I fish and trash on the lake bank where I camp.
    Tell'em I'll be there.
