    Can't sleep so thought I would go over to Okatibbee and give it a try.
    Never been over there
    Where is best place to launch to spider rig
    Is there a bait shop

    Only bait shop I know of is the one on the east side of the causeway, bout a mile and half after you cross it but there may be another one.

    Just use jigs and nibbles.

    SteveJ; What type of nibbles do you use at Okatibbee. And do you make your okatibbee special jigs or do you buy them.

    Want to say a special thank you to Joey for all the information that he gave me he sent me locations of the dam locations of bait shops and gave me some ideas of where to fish I caught a limit of crappie. my first of the year. Thanks again what you went above and beyond

    SteveJ has a fishing partner that ties his jigs for him. Also takes his fish off and sometimes puts his nibbles on. Lol

    We normally use Collinsville Landing and spider rig along the creek channel which would be about 100 yards out from the landing. Theres a store south of Collinsville, Brown's Store, that sells minnows. Also Graham's Store, east of the lake sells them. We tip jigs with pink Power Bait Crappie Nibbles. If you use a Garmin in your vehicle I can post coordinates.
