Got out for a few Sat. mainly to try out the new Xi5 that I have. Did fish for about 3 hours checked a couple of known spawning spots fish are not up yet!!!! All fish caught sat. where caught in 20 to 25 feet of water longline trolling at .3 to .5 mph. Jigs tipped with live bait was the key water temp 49 when I got there 52 when I left. Water was very muddy form all the rain even into the main creeks like Taw Caw and Wyboo. As long as we keep getting these high temps and another cold front does not push through I would say about 2 weeks and it will be on. Happy fishing to you!!!!
A bad day fishing is better then a good day at work. Unless u fish for a living

Many moon ago I worked in downtown Atlanta and my fishing buddy I would watch for the Dogwood trees to start blooming. It lifted some of the gloom of being stuck in corporate America because we knew the fishing was about to get really good.
