    Default Boat trailer


    Okay so I have to two things to get out of the way before I show a picture of this.

    First, we all know I drink some along the way, so maybe some of the responsibility could fall there.

    Second, I ain't no builder. This boat trailer stretches the definition of "boat trailer" to some extremes. It is a boat carriage.

    Also, it is not finished, but this was the first non-freezing, non-raining, and warm enough day I had to work on it. I couldn't resist throwing something together. I figured I'd jack it up to try to keep the four wheeler from filling it with mud, but I'll just have to see how that goes when I get to try pulling it. Plus, I only have about $20 in it, so it was built mostly out of stuff I had laying around. More to come...hopefully.

    I have an idea:
    How about building a support for it above the atv-that way the boat wont fill with mud and be more mobile--just a thought....

    My plan which might fail is to keep its nose up to avoid the majority of the mud. I'm guessing it'll be a modify as I go project. I've tried to keep it as low as possible to help in navigating the trails, but me and Paul (my name for my stihl) are going to have to do some trail work anyway.

    You have messed up already. Your should have gotten a patent on it before you let anyone see it. Now, everybody and their brother will be having one built or building one on their own. That rig looks much safer than carrying one in the trunk of your car.
