Radio Shack has them, I just bought a 3 pack yesterday. $12 for 3. The 2450N is a bit thicker than the 2450. In some remotes you have to bend the contacts out a bit for them to contact the battery if you use the 2450. The 2450N fits better.
However, I did not know there was a difference until I read in a post on here and I've used the plain 2450 with no problem. Mine is the newer style remote, had it about 3 years. On my 2nd battery now.

The newer remotes take the 2450....the older ones take the CR2450N..the one with the N has a rim on it.......the other one does not.

Well now you got me wondering if the 2450N will fit the newer units?? Anyone know, before I open the package??

not sure but don't think it will.... possibly too big......the one without the N is easy to find....walmart even has them

That is what I get for overthinking things. Been using the 2450s with no problem, but I thought maybe the thicker 2450N would last longer. I will run by and change the Ns to the regular ones.
Glad I did not find this out on the water.
Thanks,
Ray

Just speaking for the area I live in, but it wasn't so easy to find here. Although radio shack was not open when I was desperate and once I read somewhere else to order the renata I just went with it. And again this is for the original remote. I just received my new remote last week and have yet to use it. Good to know it takes the 2450
