Headed to Eufaula this weekend and never been. Figured we'd venture out and try a new lake with the good weather.
Any tips or wisdom?
Thought about going to Da Hill (been 3 years since I've been), but I'd hate for a couple of amateurs in a panfish boat to win the big tourney and the pros get upset!

Skintback, I haven't been to the lake this year. But in past years they always bit better on the Georgia side first. Bama bite is usually in April. If there not in or around Patala creek, I would go up north around Florence Marina. I am going to make my first trip Saturday, If all works out. I will start up north first.

We had 3 boats there Friday(30+30+19) all good fish and I talked to at least 2 other fisherman who limited out…it's on!

LOL…now you know that was 1 fisherman per boat! or we would have doubled those numbers!

A couple of guys we knew were there this weekend, so we had some guidance on where to go. Ended up with 80 total good fish. We only fished 2 areas (fairly close together) so I'm not sure how everyone was doing in other areas of the lake, but the ones we were fishing around were doing about the same as us, so they said. Not loading the boat, but picking up good fish.
Good to fish a different lake and the weather was nice. Always heard a lot of good things about Eufaula.
