    I was using the 3oz Bill, dont have any 4s but for deeper fishing I bet they would be great.

    I am guessing at the boat speed and 3oz plus weight you would need a different/heavier action rod than your normal double minnow rig rod???

    Yeah, got a couple of 14 foot Firecast Rods that do real well and then I use a couple of short rods. I have used BGJPs in a pinch but man they bowed up!!! Was powertrolling double minner rigs, paid off too.

    PST's will work fine. I use several different lengths to get a 4' spread on my baits.
