Bluestem lake report?
Does anyone have any information they are willing to share about Bluestem lake west of Pawhuska? I haven't been on it in a few years. Any info would be appreciated.

It is owned by the city of Pawhuska. It use to be fairly clear and really deep. I have caught some nice walleye and crappie in years past but haven't been there in about 6 years.Originally Posted by Crappie Reaper

I have no experience on Bluestem, but have fished lake Pawhuska many times. There are a few dinks but nothing really worth while, enjoyed it more for the trout before they stopped stocking it this year. But it has very clear water, but much smaller than Bluestem.

I use to have access to a heated dock on Bluestem. There's some good crappie in it, but I've never fished it from a boat.

I used to catch a few decent crappie while trolling for walleye a few years back. I'm going to give it a try next weekend.
