    Default Bayou Corne - conditions?

Can someone give us an update on fishing conditions at Bayou Corne and the status of the sink hole situation. I have been on hold for a long time now waiting hopefully for good report so I could make another trip and stay at Cajun Cabins. Any info would certainly be appreciated.

Best to just call Cajun Cabins. I don't fish there, but pass by there sometimes and don't see a lot of activity. Plenty of water in the area to fish. besides bayou corne. What are you targeting?

Last 3 times I went, we got skunked. Don't know if it's gas in the water or the tremors or what. No clue. It's like they all moved away or something.
But there's good fishing at Crackerhead and the canals between Lake Verret and Grassy Lake. So you could still stay at the cabins if you want to. There's also some good ones at Pierre Part Bay which would put you closer to the action either north or south of the lake.

Thanks guys for your help. I'm mostly a sacalait and bream chaser. When I was out there before I looked around Pierre Part for places to stay but didn't run across anything. Of course Cajun Cabins is not all that far up the road.
