Default After waiting all winter for spring to come

Started getting sick Saturday morning,Sunday morning made a trip to local er,Next stop was emergency surgery. My left bowel and entestines had dropped down into my scrotum,Surgury went well and was back home Wednesday evening,Now,doc said not to lift anything over 5 pounds for six weeks,I told the doctor I would never catch a crappie over 5 pounds but he said no lifting of anything. So after waiting all winter for the spring spawn I'm stuck at home,,Talk about rotten luck.Guess I will have to just work through it with a little bank and pier fishing but that's not the same,,Quess that's life but you can't keep a crappie fisherman down for long,,,Wish me luck

Hopefully you'll be back on the water sooner than that. Good luck with your recovery, but definitely pay attention to the Doc also. They usually don't give bad advice.
