Thread: Toledo Bend gathering - last weekend of February 2015

Just wanted to say Thank You! to the all the Louisiana Crappie.com folks for the invite to your gathering. This Texas boy had a great time as well as my wife Deborah and sister Pat. Although the fishing was slow, the food and camaraderie more than made up for it.

Never met so many friendly and hospitable people in one place.... dpisani (thanks for the wild boat ride!) wasn't such a bad guy either.

Hope to see everyone again next year.

Glad ya'll were able to make it fishfried. Really enjoyed antique shopping with Deborah and hope to spend more time with her next year. I didn't get a chance to talk to Pat.

I would like to thank all the folks for such a great time!!! fishing was on the slow side, but meeting new friends made up for that 10 fold. bill and I talked about the great time we had all the way home in the rain!!!. we have it marked on the calendar for next year. cant wait!!!! again, thanks to all!!!!

Glad to hear it Chuck, was a pleasure to meet you and Bill. Tell Bill I ate his tator salad last night, and will again tonight . That there is a keeper. Sorry folks, toted a bunch of that home, couldn't help myself. I expect him to do that again - well I hope. We'll see you guys again next year! Thanks so much for attending.
