    Default CANEY NO GOOD

At least for me. Decided to make a quick run to the lake this morning. Got there about 7:30 and left the water about 9:30. Caught 2, kept one. Too windy for me. I did get to meet 2 CDC members after I loaded the boat. One of them was bobgill and I think the other one was creb125. Both of them were extremely nice.

That wind is rough on Caney. We had a Crappie Tournament there today but I couldn't fish it. I have just finished a battle with Bronchial Pneumonia. Ran a 103 Temp. for 36 hours before I finally went to the Dr. In fact, the Tuesday I called you I was running fever. Admitted to the hospital Wed-Sun, but I'm on the mends and will be fishing again before long.
I fish 7 days a week; some days for fish, everyday for men.

Yeah I fished Caney this morning. Trolling battery died on me and I was gone by 8:30. Wind was tough.

Enjoyed meeting you and getting to visit Pastor. Was a tough day for fishing today. Daughter and I boated 2 small crappie, a small bass, and 2 barfish. And she caught everything except one little bitty barfish

Fished Sat. afternoon. Wound up with 10 crappie. Wind bad. Fished Sunday a little between rains. Caught 3 more. Caught a few yellow bass. Filleted them too. Water temp on top 48. Weather looks bad for next week too. Spillway Marina has new # 318-249-2369. Still fishing 40 ft with shiners. Will try again this weekend.

Fished the tourney there Saturday and ended up with 10 small crappie. Weighed 3.26 for 7 fish (which is pitiful!) Had a good time though. All on jigs. First place wasn't but 5.4 something.
