In reality i don't think a fish was caught yesterday and I'm not seeing too many boats in the water today. The food was great last night and we had a great time swapping lies.

One very nice thing happened and that was our good friend Tal Guidry known as Vet on the forum was named the Sportsman of the Year and was given the golden cricket award. He humbly accepted the much deserved award and was strongly applauded. I tried to post a picture of him accepting the award but the connection through my phone is very slow and weak so it will have to wait until I get a better connection.

This place is so far back in the boonies that there is no cell phone service at my cabin and only a weak one at the pavilion.

Fishing was poor. None at all friday. Shadow won with a .78 sat. and we did a second place. RMGeorge got second with .48. Only 2 caught by everyone. The rest of us tied for third. lol We did have about 10 catfish to clean with those 2 and people brought enough that we had leftovers sat, night. Freebird I took your place and Tal fished with me. We did not catch much, but I had a blast. Ask him and fishfried if an Xpress boat can take rough water.
