At the same time, I took G and Cray to Hemphill BBQ to get my Texas BBQ fix. Cray hurt himself over there.

The raffle we had for the Sabine Counsel on Aging worked out nicely - a very good cause. I'm proud of our bunch. Danny will follow up on this

Here's the antique shop we went to. The structure was built in the 1800's. The pot bellied stove (which had a nice warm fire going in it) was also part of the original building. I'm thinking they said 1809 which would have been before the Republic of Texas was created. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That pot belly stove sure put out some welcome heat.

The raffle was a great success. As I said in an earlier post the idea came to me last year when Ferdi showed his generosity by giving away some items. I will post on it tommorrow night. Mae and I will deliver the money to the Sabine Council on Aging before we go home monday morning. Thanks to those who donated items and bought into the idea. I have been wanting to try this and I think we will do it again next year. Danny
