    Default A 6 pound Crappie?

Went to Sportsmans Warehouse in Southaven this PM, a guy named John (last name?)that works in the fish dep. told me that Fisheries "shocked up" several crappie weighing 6 lbs in GrenadaWhen? Source? Said he had heard it from several people. Have any of you guys that live down that way and fish Grenada alot ever heard of this, or is this a "chute house" rumor?

Talked to Keith Mills a few weeks back for over an hour, actually talked about some shocking they had done on Nader and how GOOD the older fish were but never was there mention of a 6 pound (much less multible) crappie, some well over 3 but thats all he mentioned.

I figured as much Rees. You know how rumors get bigger and bigger. John didn't start the rumor, but I will correct him when I see him again. Probably started by some fisherman. You know we fisherman all lie from time to time!
