Default Antbody else have this problem

Put a Minn Kota MKA 47 mounting bracket on my boat because the I Pilot overhang was hitting the trailer rollers when launching and banging under it when loading. Trailer had to be just right. The bracket mounted fine, but I can not lock it in place with the terrova side cover on. The locking screw holes are completely hidden. Cant just drill another hole because it locks with a threaded screw. Any body else have this problem. If Im the only one I know its something ive done and ill call MK Monday.

Loading, dont put much trailer in the water and power load it, takes a little practice and is much easier figuring it out with 2 folks but once you get it this wont be a problem. Unloading I havent figured out how to keep it from dragging on some ramps.

No, this bracket slides forward and locks when motor is in use. When not in use, it slides back about 6 inches and locks. So the trolling motor won't be an issue at the ramp

Something tells me you are in the wrong holes. Have to be mounted too far back.
