Default 2-24-2015 Blackhear report with new Helix 5

Yesterday me and a buddy went to lake blackshear to set up my new helix 5 si and to fish a little. I got on the water and it was raining and windy. We got the helix set up thanks to my buddy chad. We went and started fishing in the channel. We didn't start catching any fish until about 3. They were running 20 feet down most of the afternoon. We ended up keeping 46 for the grease. Here are a few shots from the new bird and the fish I brought home. Water temp was 49.5.

Looks like a good unit. I was heading to Blackshear either Friday or Saturday but with all this rain, guess I will go to Sinclair.

Default Quack is a stand up guy.

Not many crappie fishermen would leave the lat/lon on the screen capture.

Any "secret" spot isn't a "secret"...somebody else knows about it...especially at Blackshear.

Ive only owned 1 HB way back when they were black and white and didnt really like it. I've always been a Lowrance guy but with those screenshots it wouldnt take me long to switch over. Those look great. Plus when you step up to SI the Birds have the best deals IMO. Thanks for sharing the pictures and congrats on a great catch.

I don't care about the coordinates I was in the channel and the fish are all over those screen shots I didn't catch any at that time I just liked the shot. Also this unit has side imaging. I'm really impressed in the unit.
