I use the 10' Ozark rear seat but I just bought a Grizzly Elite brush rod and really like the feel of that rod. Light weight and a ton of back bone. I also looked at the Duck Commander Double Touch and it is a good feeling rod and the Sam's Supper Sensitive is a long time favorite.

I only use 11ft sante lite rods by whitey outlaw for jigging, no eyes on them, can reach under limbs and up in tops without line catching on everything, plus the arc of the rod with the line running inside it makes for no pressure points to fail.

You name it and someone will say it is their favorite. Personal preference will play a big part in it. I'm not a fan of a whippy rod, so the Ozarks are out for me. I like the 12' BGJP, and 10' Duck Commander for shallow pads, and a 10' Cherrywood for heavy cover.

I have the BnM BBUL bottom real seat and it is very light but being light it lacks backbone. If you want light weight and a ton of backbone try out a Grizzly Elite 10'6" IM7 brush rod. I also just got a Wally's Solo rod and it is a nice rod. There is so many great rods out there your just going to have to try some out and choose for your self.

I use a 7 foot Glomis light action. To fish tight line over brush. Two spools ready on Yozuri 4lb hybrid florocarbon. The other 10 lb power pro. If fish are on top of pile feeding use the 4lb if in the brush go with Power Pro with light wire jig. The rod is super light and sensitive as anything can feel everything. Expensive but well worth the price. Tell me what is the thinking with the longer rods if you are fishing straight under the boat on a tight line.
