Thread: Spring vacation crappie trip

I am going to Clewiston Fla that same week. We stay at Roland Martin's Marina right on the shore of Lake Okeechobee. We started out going to fish for Bluegills that bed around that time, but we discovered Oscar fishing in the Everglade canals and got spoiled. Actually the wind ran us off the big "O" and we went to the glades to get out of the wind and got spoiled fishing there.
But Okeechobee has crappie and bass as well as bluegill and many others too. We been stuck inside forever with rain, freezing rain and just plan bad weather so we are looking forward to the trip.

Now I am thinking of going to Lake Dardanelle.
