    Default Feed Back

I am looking for feed back on fishing "hair jigs". I used to fish primarily Becky's jigs a few years back. I since have went back to tube and crappie assassins. What are the best hair jigs out there now? Becky's, Poppa Choppa, Stumpy Bayou, Basin, D&M, etc. What do ya'll recommend?

I fish North Louisiana and Saline Larto, and the Black Lake hair jig #120 is my favorite jig of all time. It's gray with some chartreuse.

These are what I use. I use to could buy them for $1.10 ea. until the man who made them passed away. These are by far the best jigs I have ever used. Not only do they catch fish but last. I have some I have caught a 100 fish on and the jig still looks new. As soon as I can find the time I am going to start tying jigs in this style. Name: latests phone 1069.jpg

Lake runner, I recommend 3 different vendors on here. Skiptomylu(Thumpit Jigs is his sight), ScottV, and Bob's Jigs, They will tie what you want in whatever color you want. I also like Lake Fork jigs. These are my opinions, I don't sell for anybody.

Pink/Chart, Blue/Chart, Gray/Chart, Red/Chart and something with black. I've caught a lot of fish on these colors for years.A good brand is Red's jigs. They are made in Deville, LA. I hope this helps.
