Turkey season soon to open

Spring turkey season here in Mississippi starts soon.
Season starts March 14 thru may 1
Youth season for 15 year old and younger starts March 7 thru 13
Remember to take a kid hunting and fishing.
I love to turkey hunt and crappie fish.
Now if I can just kill that gobbler by 7:00 am I can crappie fish till........O well.
Everyone be safe and have a good turkey and crappie season

I cant wait....although I have problems deciding what I want to do....turkey hunt or crappie fish....frustrating, also doesnt help that im a baseball coach and our season is getting hot and ready just at the same time the crappie and turkey are

I wholeheartedly endorse turkey hunting as the best way for a man to spend his time outdoors. As an added benefit, it really cuts down on the riff raff in the spring when I'm try to fish.

I can't wait for the season to start up here. Turkey hunting and picking morel mushrooms in the morning and crappie fishing in the afternoon. No better time of the year.

Just dont have time for both, crappie fishing it is. Anytime spent with the kids is good, I miss Ree not being around for us to do things together and grab every chance I get.
