I think they help in a few different ways...they act as an added flash of color, you can contrast different colors to different colors of lures.
They also are made of seafood, fish meal, etc, which does act as a bite enhancer. And they dissolve leaving a scent trail that can attract fish or start up a bite. those traits are enough for me to think they will at least help!
I tip my swimbaits with nibblets in every condition or pattern.

Thanks for all the replys guys.
It's nice talking fishing as this time of year ice season is kinda slow right now and the temps here was -20 without any wind chill figured in. Hopefully the weather starts to break soon or the lakes will be froze till April this year.

Try gummy worms. They taste better than nibbles.

The Power bait works quite well and I use it both during the soft and hard water seasons. During the hard water season when using small lures for panfish I cut the pellets in thirds. I also temper the pellets so they stay on the hooks better.
IMO if the lure is doing it's job, the color of the pellet doesn't mater. It is the scent that helps trigger a bit.

I have used nibbles for many years I wouldn't go fishing without them I have bought about six cases of them a while back when they were on sale.

That's where the foil comes in handy. Just fold up and make a "V" and pour right back in the bottle with all the Garlic Salt. THEY WORK!!!

never had them make a bit a difference as far as I could tell. I do use them as a last resort though. I do carry fish oil spray and use it.......it also probably doesn't make a bit of difference but makes me feel better.

yes the absolutely work........when the bite slows most times are due to the nibble falling off. ...chartreuse is always a good color.

I have used them and seem to work great. I don't have a bait pump but do have the turkey injectors. I do have to use a little fish oil or water to make them injectable but do the fish hammer the tubes then. I got some of the gewbers from Slab but havn't had a chance to use them yet cause of the ice but positive they work great too.
Lets go soak a line. Pat
