    Default jig molds

Who has the best prices for Do-It jig head molds? Have seen this info posted before but can't find it now. Also, are there any problems with not using a wire insert in a mold designed to use one? -just don't want to spend a lot of time cleaning up any "leftover" lead or holes where the lead did not flow. Am considering the Do-IT mold with 4 cavities for 1/32 and 4 cavities for 1/24 heads with the wire insert-just have no need for the insert. Many thanks!

Usually Zeiners Bass shop Zeiner's Bass Shop - Wichita, Kansas or Barlows. No you don't have to use the inserts but you might have a small bit to trim off which usually isn't that hard or get a mold that doesn't use inserts.

If you are going to use plastics, the inserts are the way to go. If you are not going to use plastics, prolly better off with another mold. If the 1/24 is what you are after, I think Jacobs ? makes a 1/24 oz jig mold

Zeiners or Barlows will have the best prices on the molds although occasionally you can find a good deal on Amazon and Ebay sometimes you can get lucku but IMO ebay will cost as much for a used mold as you willl pay for a new one.
