And it took twice as long to catch 5 fish. Took 1.5 hours this time.

I think this is unbelievably fantastic. My 84 year old mom who thought she'd never go out on a boat again. Went fishing with me on the boat and we caught 5 fish in 45 minutes this morning: http://www.crappie.com/crappie/florida/302238-day/

Then in the afternoon she asked to go fishing again! Huh, what? Well, no problem mom. We went fishing, and caught five fish again. But it took twice as ling this time, 1.5 hours! lol

The funny thing is, we're gonna fish off the sea wall in about an hour for Bluegill. I'm fishing with mom 3 times today. Got to love her.

Great way to spend a day. Take advantage of the opportunity. My Mother did not fish but she loved it when I took a day off and fished a local lake where she lived and then cooked her some fresh crappie. She is gone now, and if I still had the chance I would have do it a lot more often. What area are you in? I am headed to Okeechobee in about 3 weeks. Been cold as a bear up here this winter.

Brings back fond memories. Good rule, enjoy as much as you can, life is short and we go on. I rember the times my dad would holler out for me to join him and mom for coffee, had to many commitments to the park I was developing. Wish I had those oprotunities back. Thanks for reminding us.

Wow you two had a great day. Nice to see older folks out there catching. I know my mom would love to do it and she's 88. Well the next best thing to it happened to me today. While I was talking to my mom on the phone today I caught a 2lb 5ozer. She laughed when I told her to hang on while I land this fish.
