    Default WTB Aluminum angle

I am looking for 4 pieces of 12 inch long 4x4x.25 aluminum angle. Interior angle needs to be a true 90 degree angle and not the curved.
I am building an adjustable jack plate for my little jon boat.
I can get it new through a dealer but they want $50+ shipping.
Funds are tight so I thought perhaps someone here would have some cut off ends that would work that they would let go at a reasonable price.
    Thanks for any help

hopefully someone close to you has what you need. if not, you might try checking your local welding shops for cut off's. or maybe your local vocational school? but for the price of aluminum, even scraps, 50$ sounds pretty cheap for a jack plate already built. I bet if you just went and bought the aluminum from a supplier, it would cost close to that.

Check machine shops too. They are glad to get rid of scrap sometimes.

I checked online metals and price was close to 70 before shipping. I know they are a bit high but the 50 you were quoted sounds very reasonable

I will be checking with my local welding shops this week and at the scrap yard.
I was just hoping someone on here would have it in their pile going to the scrap yard and might let it go at a decent price.
I checked both Cut To Size and On Line Metals before I posted and it was running about $54 + shipping

I bought this for one of my boats worked good just drilled holes and bolted on boat. It's not much higher and already made. I hope this helps you, and free shipping on it also.
