All power cords are short for all models. Just get some marine grade wire of the same size, waterproof connectors/shrink wrap, run the wire from the cranking battery to the area needed, make the connections waterproof/tight and mount your FF.

I posted some questions on mounting the xducer on the trolling motor in the electronics forum and got some good info. I have a few questions for yall on the mounting of the actual unit. In your opinion what is the best mounting option for the front of the boat? I was considering buying a ram mount or building an aluminum mount a little shorter than my hitech rod holder. The only thing i'm not happy with so far is the short power cord that they include. I'm going to need a longer one to mount the head unit like i discussed above. I just dont understand why they would not provide a sufficient length power cord, I cant imagine the cord being long enough to reach a battery on any boat whether at the front or rear. Does anyone have a cord that is 4-5 feet they would like to part with?

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.Crappie Greg LIKED above post
Thanks jimp, do I need to hook it to cranking battery? I cant hook it to my deep cycle in the front?
Sometimes, actually quite often, your trolling motor can cause interference with your graph. That's why you should run your electronics from your starting battery.
