A jig head is a tool to fish with. The design of each type head is designed for different things. The minnow head is narrow same weight but goes through cover better. The round head is designed more for dragging on bottom fishng deeper, slower fall. Like any other tool use what it is designed for better results. That don't mean you cannot think outside the box special situation's,Current, wind ect.Good luck and good fishing. Do-it.com has some how to videos on each head design and what ,how they are used very informative.Name: 1210141903-00[1].jpg

Size: 25.1 KB can see the different designs in the pic each one looks close to the same but again each one is different. The tear drop head(round) drops head first and is better fishing on or near the bottom. The Bat head(minnow type narrow) is for fishing through thick nasty cover wear a rabbit would not go very, very weedless. My TWO cents for what it is worth.

    Red face

Quick the fish tell me that I am pretty and a good fisherman but I think they just want me to let them go. Fish are just like women.
