    Thanks toon, I was wondering excatly which ones you all were talking about. I need some new ones myself and have a birthday BPS card that I "need" to use!

    I have the scales but I don't know if they are any good -- I've never caught anything over 1.5lb since I got the scale last year. I guess the "2lb" reading actually works -- well, at least it did when I pulled on the hook.

    I have the Rapala scales, but there seems to be a problem. They always show that the fish weighs much less than what I told everybody it was. Factory defect probably.

    I have a set of Berkley scales I have had for years work great. Have weighted more baby goats with them than fish.

    Toon I am SURE I have caught some 2 or 3 pounders- But they have all fallen back into water before I could find my scales!!!

    Now Dave it is not that me and WW42 can't catch a lot of fish. But we like to name each one of ours and at our age we need a little time to think up a new name between fish.
