A 1/24 will run about 4 feet deep at .8. you need to run about 1.o or a little more to get it 2 to three. you can also pull a 1/48 at about .7 to .8 that will get you 2 to three feet

I dont longline so not sure how much weight u put on. I play around with it sometimes. As far as depth there is no way of me knowing. The reason the fish on Washington are suspended a lot of times is because there feeding on shad on the surface. When they start spawning they will relate to the bottom more.

Read this article. It's got some great info on jig size, speed, and line out selections for the right jig running depths.

1/32 not too hard to find 1/24 a little harder. If your fishing in less than 1o feet of water and more than 2 feet you should be fine with 1/24 or 1/32.
I seen some post about meat getter jigs. They looked very good!! I pm him to see about getting some and mike said they had everything at bait n thangs. Maybe he has some small jigs. I typically use round ball painted hair jig or RBP jig curly tail grub body. Seen a lot of people say straight minnow works best on Washington. Gonna try it all I guess hair with bangs spray and crappie nibble or hair tipped with minnow or just straight minnow see what they like.
Definitely wanna try some jigging on trees never caught a big one jigging trees.
I get some big slabs I wanna try grilling them be good!
