Default Norman 2-16. Another solid day.

It was chilly, but the action was steady all morning long. Only saw 1 other boat out there all day, Mac Byrum the area LKN guide. Dont think he faired well as he packed it up and hauled out after an hour.
Someone said something about a winter storm warning?!?!?! Didnt see the first bit of precipitation until started cleaning fish at 3pm.!!
    !
was a solid downrigger bite today. Of the 9, 7 on the downrigger on those fancy umbrella rigs of mine. They work. end of story! only 1 double for the day.

Final tally for the day was 9 striper, 1 hybrid, some perch and about 5 spots. biggest striper again about 10 lbs.

Of the 9, only kept 4 for an ice storm cookout at my house as well as my buddys family. Smallest one in the pic is 20.5 inches if that says anything. havent caught a striper that small on Norman since spring of last year!!

Yall dont be afriad to fish in 44-45 degree water under the bait balls!!

Full day 1/2 day or evening Striper/Crappie fishing trips available at a very affordable price for
Lake Norman, Badin, Wateree, High Rock.
Individual maker of the heavy duty "hybrid" A-rig Trolls just like an umbrella rig, Guaranteed to put fish in the boat

Great catch Pete! That's one big mess of fish. I can almost smell them frying.
