    Default Lake washington 3-1-15

Wanting to go try fishing lake Washington 3-1-15 thru 3-4-15
I've never been there and may be by myself. Trying to get a friend to go and he probably will but he's never been either. I mainly long line but I'm putting spider rig on front of boat next weekend.
Just looking for a few good tips or starting places or what to look for? What will the fish be doing at this time and main colors cloudy vs sunny days? I guess you use minnows always? I'm gonna try to stay at baits n thangs if available for sure gonna launch boat there every day. Any info be appreciated thanks guys.

If water temp is above mid 50's, go to north end and troll down the edge of the cypress trees on the south side. Pulling jigs or slow trolling but since you know more about pulling I would just pull. If temp is below mid 50's the fish generally hang out from bait and things and on down to the south where you will find deeper water. pulling jigs will work there too. stick with greens, chart, orange, purple, and pink colors. U shouldn't have any problem finding and catching fish that time of year. Good Luck

Yes sir I usually long line but use to deep water. Idk what jig it'll take to run 2-3 ft at .6-.8 maybe a 1/24 hair jig or 1/16 hair? You tip with minnows long lining?

How deep is it generally on south end where they hang out if temp is below mid 50s and north end also how deep is it generally where they hang out?

I've read most the fish there stage only couple feet down not on bottom like you'd think. Is that mainly what you've noticed also or some places different.?
