Default Lost: one Crappie.com fishing rod on Lake Griffin

I had a few custom 6ft Crappie.com rods made up, and we were long lining today, and well, make a long story short, rod be gone!

But we did have some good luck today. Prolly caught 25, kept 10 for this coming weekend's slabfest cause I hear we're needing some.

I feel your pain. I have a few hundred bucks laying at the bottom of one of my lakes. Stripers and spider rigging can spell disaster! At least you didn't come home empty handed.

The rod I lost does/did float. But it still disappeared after we got the boat turned around. We seen it bobbing up and down and then gone. Coulda been a big gar or bass on it. Maybe even a gator. But it got real windy and we stopped looking. Oh well.

I did that once. I had a 12 ft pole that was suppose to float disappear in 4 ft of water. We gave up looking but came back the next day and there it was floating near where I lost it. A 2-3 lb catfish was still on it.

Years ago Dad made a hook to drag while trolling. He never paid for another rod. Even got one that still had a 4 pound bass hooked, would not have beleived him but I was with him
