Had a decent day considering the wind was blowing pretty good, Caught all these long lining jigs around Marker 29. All over on colors, whites, Green.s Yellows, and 2 of these were on a mini bass plug.

That looks better than Ive been doing. Ive been skunked the last two time on Toho. Going to Cypress tomorrow to try my luck. Nice catch though.
There is no such thing as a bad day Fishing or Hunting. Being outdoors has no rival.:fish
Swampslider, If your going to Cypress hit Canoe Creek or Southport Canal. Should be better down there right now.
Also I see your home lake is Gentry, Might want to head over to Alligator and take the canal over to Brick Lake, I know dad use to do good over there at times. If you have been in the area for a long time I am sure you would know Dad.

looks most of them were males !
Several parts of Kissimmee - Tiger - Walk-in-water haven't spawned out yet.
Have never long-lined W. Toho - always spider rig - around marker 26 & between
paradis is & mackinson
Have spent 2 yrs looking for big brush pile supposedly somewhere between 22 & 24
would appreciate knowledge or coordinates - send me a pm.
Thanks
Actually all but one were female, Had eggs but the egg sacs were not bloody yet, Spawn still a few weeks out I think. I tried all around the Islands and only picked these up between marker 29 and Shingle Creek, Closer to the marker than the creek. As for the Brush piles, good luck, I know back in the 80's they had several fish attractors on both east and west lake, I was on the dive team with the Sheriffs office back in the late 80's when we did a training dive on them, Funny it was just the marker, a rope to a concrete anchor, no brush in sight, it had all rotted away. Best structure I know of on any of the lakes in up in the canals where the busted concrete has been dumped along the banks to stop erosion.
Thank you Sir for your imput.............
back to using Si and setting up new grid.
