Yes drill out all the rivets on the trim with 1/8 th inch drill bit. Replace rivets after you glue in carpet. I redid mine 2 different times. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
Do you have seats ? If not ,if you can afford good Tempress seat they are worth the cost .
