    Default New Project

Hey guys, a mostly lurker here. Wanted to thank everyone for all the great info I've gleaned off the Arkansas board and share with you the start of my new project. Will try to keep you posted as it progresses and I look forward to your feedback and suggestions as I try to put this new to me rig together.

    So here she is

'94 17ft alumaweld/xpress with an 02 90hp mercury. Motor and hull are good to go, most wiring is good, needs some switches redone and a new rpm gauge. Interior needs some work

I have ordered some hydro turf to redo the interior. Have had good experience with it in the past in duck boats and hoping it turns out as well in this rig. Will be working on getting remaining carpet and glue out this weekend.

My goal is to have interior redone and boat set up fully by first of march. This may be a little overly ambitious but I figure a goal is just a dream with a deadline so here goes nothing. Would love everyone's input as project progresses. Thanks again.

Good thing is you dont have to tear out carpet and scrape off glue. Looks like you almost have a clean slate to work with. Nice boat

That will fix up real nice. Hope to be down that direction before long to take in person look. Hurry, I may be wanting to fish out of it too.

Thats going to be an awesome boat! Welcome to the site. The more you give to this site, the more it gives to you! Teach what ya know and learn what ya don't! Alot of great people on here. If you dont feel like doing the work yourself on the boat, there is an advertisement on one of the "sticky's" on here where a guy is doing that kind of stuff for a very fair price from what I have heard. Just throwing that out there.
