Also sorry to hear that. I hope that the law catches them. I would beat the crappie out of him or them if I were to catch them. Blackhawk961 is right a short rope in deep water works wonders.

So sorry for you! A low-down dirty shame! That head assy won't do him much good w/o the wiring harness. Might notify Lowrance and see if anybody in your area orders a wiring harness. Won't help you, but maybe it may help to catch the low-life so he won't hurt somebody else.

Post the SS number if you have it so folks will know it if they are looking to buy a used unit. Hate to hear this happened to you and hope the person is caught.

Humminbird might be able to trace it, via GPS, when the thief turns it on. I mean, if the satellites allow us to see where we are on the lake, surely they can show Humminbird where the unit is being used.

Has anyone heard any thing on the new Hummingbird Helix 5 SI DI units. Thinking about replacing my 898 that was stole with that. That will probably fit in the dash and wont have to worry about getting stole as quick not being on a ram mount.

I just talked (via PM) with Brian at BBG Marine. The Helix units are on back order, probably because it is a good price on a good uni. I am getting one for the front of my boat when they come in. You can PM Brian and tell him what you want and he will let you know when they come in. He beat BPS and Cabela's by about 10% on my particular unit.
