How about any fishing repot from LARTO. This beautiful weather has me chomping at the bit to wet a hook))) surely this year will be awesome, considering last years crappie time. I appreciate hearing from any and all. I'm hoping to start a little "spring cleaning" this week so nothing deters me when u guys start pulling them in 😄😄😄.

I went Saturday to Larto for 3 hours and did not catch A FISH !! But don't let that deter you. Everybody else did. My troll motor did not work, but that's not an excuse. slight South wind kept us going slow enough. Had 8 poles with 2 shiners/jigs on each pole. Sonar was LIT UP with fish. Talked to several people and most were catching a few. Some were catching pretty good. I had 3 friends that went Sunday and caught 80. So, if you have time, Larto is on right now. Oh, and of course, oldyankee tears them up like always.
I brought my boat to a technician this morning about the troll motor not working. There was a large 50 amp fuse that was not working properly. He replaced it and not its working.

Dapet, we were also out there. We only came out with 6.. I was the boat right next to you for a while, 18 ft camouflaged flat. Right after you shot out my troll motor went out also. Must have been something in the water!!!
Sorry to hear you had some motor trouble. That's frustrating to say the least. But at least you can get all the kinks out early and be ready for your limit from here on. Thank you so much for the response. I hope to be at the lake tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest. This gorgeous weather and yalls repays makeme want to throw everything else down, grab my fishin hat and jump in the boat. Did so poorly last year just sitting in the boat under the shed makes me feel good about this year. Haha. Good luck and thanks again.

HA HA, Im laughing so hard rite now!! i just noticed underneath my screen name the word Guppy....... I guess that's better than Mullet or Pollywag !!!
I did hammer them. Caught 80 in a day and a half, only kept slabs, threw back at least 100. I found a hot spot in shad lake where I caught about half of those in an hour. Kinda fell on them. I started at the entrance to the lake, planned on working back to honey hole. When I got ready to turn their were 50 boats on the straight so I headed in the lake. Usually hard to fish there because the channel is so narrow but the water was dead calm. Just plain luck.
Good luck with that motor
