The bite started up this week when the wind laid. I've been some hearing good reports of some good fish being caught. Now that duck season is over, you will be seeing a lot more reports.

Fished late Friday afternoon and the bite was lite and slow. You really had to watch the tip of your poles or be using bobbers.

Your Uncle Larry would be proud. He's my neighbor over here at Kentucky Lake.
He's a great guy and as fine a christian witness as I've ever known.

He is a good man and I think the world of him and Vanice. I have learned a lot from him over the years! My dad and I bought his old nova crappie boat when they got the nitro. Maybe we will see you up there this spring because we are planning on fishing the big lake this year too.

Larry told me that you and your dad bought his old boat when he got the Nitro. I've been fishing in his boat a couple of times this winter when he wanted to go and Vanice was busy with something else. I was really impressed with the way he organizes his boat when he gets up front to fish. He has everything he needs within easy reach and is always thinking ahead when he is fishing.
I live just down the street from him so if you're over this way maybe we will meet each other in person.
Here's a couple pictures from the first time we fished together in November.
