Thread: MMMMMM-----WONDER HOW MONROE IS THIS YEAR?

Been just as good as any other year. Only change I have seen is I have yet to see a large school of shad. Plenty of mullet but have not seen the huge patches of shad that normally are there. But plenty of fish and good ones too! Just not the number of 2 pounders that Crescent has shown. But its all good cause there has not been the pressure on Monroe this year either. The river has been pretty much un fishable with the high water and very strong current. But it is getting close.

Nope! They all in Crescent and Talquin! Sure been nice out there this year without 100 boats every weekend. Most Saturdays have been 25-30 boats and all over the lake. No Crappie Shop boat or several others from Ga and South Carolina that seemed regulars every fall. So ya no fish in Monroe, dont waste yer time. Keep stoppin at Crescent or Talquin. And nice not having Crappie Masters adding pressure this year as well.
