Default For Anyone That Has Sent Me An Email Lately

I was trying to fix my email for thumpitjigs and not sure what happened, but lost all the email I had on my computer, every single one! So I have a different email that I am starting to use as I will probably kill my site very soon and most likely will not have another one again. I have been slowing down for over a year now so thinking it's just time to close my site.

Right now I am really hot under the collar about all this and just pushes me to make my decision to end the site and if someone wants to look at my jig pictures I guess they can just look at my Photobucket account to browse through. I would probably need to add some extra pictures in there though so not sure yet what I will do about that.

Anyway mainly this was just to explain why I am not answering emails that are on my computer even if we have been emailing lately as it's all gone!

    Thanks,

I'll send you something so you can put me back in your contacts. Good luck with it, I know it can be frustrating.

Choose wisely Skip.Prayers sent.(Skip) you are a very important to this site (Crappie.com) I for one have learned so much from your tutelage you have experience tying, making and tying jig's.You Skip always, always give precise info and can spot things on a jig most cannot see.(experience that comes from tying a lot of jig's)(that you cannot from a book or a youtube video)You tell it just like you see it(Very important) I think a jig is perfect. You always, always see a hidden flaw and point it out!!(Because you are trying to teach How to tie make the lure correctly). Which is very important in lure making.I watch your post every day to learn!!Not try to copy but learn(Rosey Red,s)(Roadrunner)( Very informative) I have learned so much from these post's (different shades and pattern's)Thanks Again You and your site will me missed!!

Thanks guys, it is so frustrating and I am about done with that!

jackie53 I really appreciate that and it's really nice to hear I helped some with this grest hobby and I for one and looking forward to doing more what I want to do. I also have been trying to straighten up my older jigs and there are so many now that just look like heck hit them. Some with short tails and I don't even really like short tails as short as some of them, LOL! Reminds me though of not long after I first started and had not even seen the pretty stuff yet and some of these were probably tied 10 years ago if not more, LOL! It helped me a lot to struggle learning since no one around here tied and only knew maybe one or two other guys jigs tying then. So had to learn by lessons on fly tying sites so I searched so much for info and looking for new things to use and just brought me to where I am now which is wanting to do more that I want to do with materials I have had for years and not really used.

i will still be here and still tie some for others, but not near as much.

Thank you so much! Yes that is the worst part about Crazy Angler and his site, it doesn't show near enough pictures and they don't get large enough. I try to make sure each picture if clicked on open much larger to they can all be seen as good as possible. Of course I made and manage my own site even though when I set it up I had no clue about any of that. However I knew a few things.....first I didn't want people on my site getting pop up ads or any advertising actually so I never would sell to advertisers to take in money. I wanted guys to go on there and feel good about being on my site and not being bothered with a bunch of junk. I also wanted the thumb nail picture that would get much larger if clicked on. That was about all I knew, but learned pretty fast with Yahoo's help and back then their service was excellent because they gave you a number to call that someone actually answered. However I also did not want someone else doing it so I could update anytime I wanted to and not having to depend on someone I had to pay to worm on my site, was not going to happen if I had to have someone else do it!

Update I got on twitter and sent them a message yesterday and I got a reply back this morning which made me happy. I got pretty pissed at them after I hung on the phone for 1 1/4 hours before I finally gave up, but think it was an older number, but even if it is shouldn't they end the phone number or at least put a message on there that they will not answer it, LOL? SO they finally gave me 2 phone numbers so I can call them. Guess it was the part about ending my site with them that got their attention??

    Thanks again guys!

Sorry, I misunderstood what you said. Sorry for your issues. I don't have to say just how much you helped me and continually raise the bar, making me try new things. All the computer stuff is foreign to me, I just barely get by. You have my respect just getting it done in the first place. Thanks for all you do, and I hope you get it squared away without too much more headache.

Hey Skip, I'm out here in Iowa and you have helped me in so many ways in this wonderful hobby. I have no idea how all the web site stuff works but it doesn't surprize me that your a web master because your attenition to detail is spot on. I hope all this works out and I am also hopeful that you are still on Crappie.COM. In my mind you are the mentor of the jig tying site and always seem to keep us on task. Sure hope I get to meet you some day and talk fishing and jigs. Grumpy

Thank you guys so much! Very nice to hear about helping someone learn this hobby. I do not plan on leaving CDC at all, just don't want to tie as much as I have done for years, but not quitting tying either, never will until my body just will not let me. I just have had a hard time for over a year about the site and even the cost of keeping it, but I do enjoy having it for a lot of reason including other being able to look at the jigs and find something they want to tie. I also didn't want to lose my email tied to the site, but if I have any more trouble with that, it may just decide this for me as I am not doing this again! I didn't call them yesterday, but will today for sure as so many places and people have that email address and doubt I could even know how I would need to tell or give a different email address to them. I can have up to 10 email addresses on my Hughes Net account and have 4 now and wide has one so 5 total of which one is the kind I give out to business sending me crud so I can go through that one fast deleting most, LOL! Other are more calm and now I added the newest one [email protected] incase I do away with the site.
