    Default Crappie Rods

Okay I know it's been discussed before but I've got it narrowed to 2 different rods. I'm thinking either the Pinnacle rods or the Crappie Stalker. Those $40 and up rods not happening, my wife would kill me. Anyway I know some of y'all have the Pinnacle(are you pleased) but what about the Crappie Stalker? Does anybody use these or know somebody that does or has anybody used both if so which do you like better? Pros and cons. Thanks for your input.
Thanks NightShift thanked you for this post

I was talking to a friend yesterday about crappie rods and the difference in the rods and prices. Some day I will buy some of the Southern Crappie rods but I don't have any complaint about my Pinnacle rods. They have been through a lot of fishing time and have pulled in many crappie and even striper in the 2 to 15 pound range and handles anything that has jumped on the jigs. I'll tell you another rod I'm pleased with, the Academy Tournament Choice rods. I have two 12' I use and they have a good backbone. Hard to find them in the stores but you can find them on their site and like the Pinnacle rods they cost right at $20. Just my feedback on two of the cheaper rods.

If youre talking longlining I've used the 8', 10' and 12' rods since I started longliningg (which has been 5 or 6 years ago) and am still using those same rods. None have broken yet and as Ronnis said...theyve caught stripers andf catfish up to 15#'s . You can still get 4 for $66 off Ebay and The Crappie Hole in Chapin, SC sells them too. There's also a member here that sell them...forget his name now, someone help.
